Science 2040: Building a science system that delivers prosperity in a changing world
The NAME group were invited to the launch of the Royal Society’s “Science 2040: Building a science system that delivers prosperity in a changing world”, the launch of their interim report. The event was held in the Churchill Rooms at Westminster hosted by Chi Crisurah MP, chair of the commons science, technology and innovation committee. Remarks were heard from Sir Adrian Smith and Sir Patrick Vallance as well as Chi Crisurah MP themselves.
The event, attended by Prof. Richard Curry and Maddison Coke, involved talking to senior representatives from the science sector, civil servants and parliamentarians where the NAME group held an area discussing the impact already being felt from the work done by NAME with videos and use of the VR experience.
