Ion Beam Modification of Materials conference

In June 2026 Professor Richard Curry was joined by Dr Mason Adshead and Mehdi Ahmadian at the 24th Ion Beam Modification of Materials conference in Helsinki, Finland. The team presented some of the ion implantation work that has been achieved through the NAME programme grant, including silicon enrichment and alloying for quantum and photonic materials, high efficiency deterministic implantation capabilities, and single photon emitter generation in quantum dots.
